J-Idol Maruyama Karin Dies Due to Lung Cancer

J-Idol Maruyama Karin Dies Due to Lung Cancer, Maruyama Karin had died on May 22 due to lung cancer. Maruyama Karin died at the age of 21 years.

Maruyama has been battling a malignant brain tumor since she at grade 2 elementary school. More recently, brain tumor had spread to his lungs and he has done a treatment for the disease.

In 2012, Maruyama was selected as semi-finalist for the 'Miss iD2013', then Maruyama start his solo activities in the summer. Although he was constantly in and out of the hospital, he continued his activities. This February, she released her first single "Eternal Summer".

Maruyama funeral process will be conducted on May 25 starting at 11:00 JST at Fukushima.
